I have recently stumbled across something amazing on the internet! There is always loads of trash on the internet when I’m trying to find something but just occasionally I find something interesting: this recent find is so brilliant that I had to share it with you…

If you look at www.tubularfells.com you will find a brilliant map of the Lake District which has been inspired by Harry Beck who designed the famous London Underground map – it is brilliant! Why has no-one ever done it before? There is one for the Scottish Munroes and one on its way for Snowdonia. I wonder when they will get down to Devon to do Dartmoor? Soon I hope. The coloured (tube) lines could partly be based on long distance walks that cover Dartmoor such as the Two Moors Way and the Templar Way and the interconnecting ‘stations’ could be good cafes or pubs! When it has been done for Dartmoor it will definitely be on my Christmas list.
