Impressively some of my Young Leaders are interested in doing more leading apart from with me. They will all be great leaders in any situation. To make this happen they have been busy gathering experience and qualifications. I have just taken them on an intensive First Aid for the Outdoors Course where they learnt new skills and increased their confidence with existing skills. They performed brilliantly and the instructor (Canoe Man) was suitably impressed with the knowledge that they already had. They were good at all aspects but Canoe Man was particularly pleased with their CPR skills.
I too was impressed by them, but a little concerned about how far they went with practising bandaging.
Poor Search had so many broken bones, bleeds and severe sprains that he was almost mummified!
