Just over the Devon border into Cornwall sits a lovely little village called Seaton. Despite its size it has a lot to offer. The beach is fabulous with perfect sandcastle standard sand, a perfectly placed coffee hut, and clear and clean water.
As well as this there is a wheelchair friendly walk into the Seaton Valley Countryside Park. The signage is good and along the way there are markers to tell you how far you are from the car park so you know when to turn back. There are interesting posts giving a picture and name of creatures to spot and flowers to find. The information boards are full of useful information and give a wider wide of the area plus options to walk a longer loop or even walk up to the pub at the top of the River Seaton estuary at Hessenford. It gave Mr Blonde One and I a perfect morning out and left us with rosy cheeks and wide smiles!
