Yesterday took us up to June with our 2017 review… what a summer it turned out to be… here’s the rest of our 2017 adventures… if you took part in them or encouraged us along the way then thank you!

July 2017

Blonde Two perfects her bushcraft skills and teaches the world how to light a fire with a tampon and does a bit of filming for BBC Breakfast. Both Blondes enjoy a slightly spooky night time exploration of Foggintor Quarry on Dartmoor.

August 2017

The Two Blondes have a disconcerting encounter with a fox but despite that run a successful first wild camping workshop. Blonde One sends a postcard from Cranmere Pool, one of Dartmoor’s most remote locations.

September 2017

Blonde Two successfully completes the River Dart 10K swim and both Blondes run their first children’s navigation workshop.

October 2017

Blonde Two takes a surprise trip to Ireland and enjoys Irish Mist swimming, some great walking and a warm welcome. Both Blondes enjoy a ladies only beach bivvy.

November 2017

The Two Blondes meet a mischievous feathered chap who steals their Jelly Babies and Blonde Two celebrates a year of wild swimming with a poem.

December 2017

Blonde Two manages a whole night bivvying in the Dartmoor snow. Blonde One takes Blonde Two on a Dartmoor walk to visit a very strange ladder.

So there you have it… 2017 over and done with and Blonde plans to be made for 2018. It is set to be a busy one…

January will bring a bothy trip to Wales.

B2 has a new camper van to play with and intends to do a bit of digital nomad working ‘on the road’.

B1 will be leading Bronze, Silver and Gold DofE expeditions, helping with Ten Tors training and taking a group of youngsters to Morocco. B2 will be helping with some but not all of this.

Both Blondes are hoping to be Ordnance Survey Get Outside Champions for the third year running.

There may be a TV appearance in the spring (watch this Blonde blog space!)

Happy New Year!
