By: Blonde Two

If you didn’t catch yesterday’s first part of our review of 2018, you won’t know that by June 2018, we Blondes had already had a winter stay in a Welsh bothy, bivvied in the snow, explored the South West Coast path, visited New Zealand and been snowed in with our women outdoor friends.

Read on for more of our 2018 outdoor Get Outside excitement!

July 2018

Blonde One experiences some delicious food on expedition with a group of youngsters to Morocco. B2 experiences some success with her freelance writing business and experiments with life as a digital nomad. The Blondes spot a fire on Dartmoor and meet some friendly firefighters.

August 2018

Blonde Two has a close encounter with a slug during a Dartmoor bivvy with her nephew. Both Blondes enjoy a camping and walking trip to North Wales. Blonde One indulges in a bit of extreme hill walking in Morocco.

September 2018

The Two Blondes run a very successful wild camping course and experience a variety of Dartmoor weather. Blonde Two considers the pros and cons of using social media to share beautiful outdoor spaces. Blonde One visits the Pope and discovers that they have a love of maps in common.

October 2018

A media-filled month as the Two Blondes do a bit of public speaking and lead navigation workshops at the fabulous South West Outdoor Festival and then go on to film on Dartmoor for Channel 4 (more about that in the New Year).

November 2018

Blonde Two takes the long way home from Up North and ends up enjoying a bit of van life in the depths of Wales. Blonde One meets a praying mantis. Both Blondes add to their list of ‘favourite’ Dartmoor pubs after a warm welcome from the Tors Inn in Belstone.

December 2018

Blonde Two completes her 50 Outdoor Sleeps for 50 Years challenge with a hammock night on Dartmoor. Blonde One appreciates the evening air on Dartmoor. Both Blondes end the year with their very own Bear Grylls style Dartmoor adventure.

So there you go… that was our Get Outside year 2018. Who knows what 2019 might bring in the World of Blonde. We look forward to having you along with us on this, our 7th year of Blonde blogging!
