As you know, Blonde One and I love challenges and we have recently invented a new one. It involves a Christmas tissue and the challenge is not to use it!
It all started a month or so ago when I was feeling a bit sad and Blonde One offered me a tissue. I couldn’t keep crying for long when I saw that, in the middle of February, she was still using very pretty Christmas tissues. We have laughed ever since about the Christmas tissues and gradually worked our way through the packet until, on Friday, there was only one left.
I had to go to a meeting and face my “Triumph and Disaster” moment. I had been hiding in Blonde One’s room all day (only the people who matter know that they can find me there) and she handed me the final Christmas tissue to take with me. As I walked down the corridor, I was thinking about Kipling (no, not the cakes this time either, although I do also like a Fondant Fancy) and decided that in order to face my “Impostors” equally I would bring the Christmas tissue back to Blonde One intact.
It was a close fun thing but I did it! We have now challenged ourselves to make the Christmas tissue last a very, very long time. Viva les Blondes.
Well done you xxxx
Loves you xxxxxx
Well done you-if it was me the Christmas tissue would be no more! Viva les blondes xxx
Before your ‘Triumph and Disaster’ moment, I can’t imagine you ever feeling sad enough to want to cry in the first place. You two are always so bubbly and cheerful.
Even the best of bubbles burst sometimes. But have no fear, we Blondes are very good at blowing new ones!
