I just need to get up onto Dartmoor!
Oh dear! A bit late this morning. My breakfast wasn’t the same, but I was entertained by granddaughter Katie – she had The Dartmoor Christmas Tree as her bedtime story last night. I think it could become a repeated favourite. When I was a young dad I knew the whole of Peter Rabbit and Mr. McGregor’s garden off by heart.
I enjoyed your poem – not bad choices except for Kendal Mint Cake which is unbearably sweet for me.
Apologies for keeping you waiting! I will blame the post Christmas lethargy.
I’m so pleased that Katie is enjoying the story – it would be great to think of it as a favourite. Mine was Chicken Licken (my Mum recently admitted to being very fed up of reading it so many times). Little Miss Blonde’s favourite was We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.
Me too. I need to get to Dartmoor. When can we go? When can we go?
Fabulous!!!! Hoping to get onto Dartmoor Sunday and Monday-weather looking great xxx
