I thought you Blondes always worked to 0.5 of a degree? BUT, I may co-opt your nomenclature to my slipshod methods thus abbreviating my mental thoughts from “a bit to the east of north.’

Well that could be – let’s see – North by East, North North East, North East by North, East North East, East by North, or even East. I know my Hornblower.
