This week’s Friday’s phrase came from a gentleman who passed us as we were putting a few ribbons on the Dartmoor Christmas Tree. We knew he was a gentleman by his turn of phrase and the fact that he also said, ‘Well done!’

It was but that poor tree has taken a battering this year. Am hoping the angel has taken flight!
