From time to time we Blondes are sent free outdoor products to field test and promote. We will always be honest about our findings and many products we don’t keep for ourselves find their way into our expedition stores. Great for us, great for you and great for our youngsters!

What better product to keep Autumn toes warm than the Keen Terradora II boots? They are super cosy with a fleece lining and an insulation rating of between -32 and -25°. Hopefully the British weather won’t put this to the test but judging by how they feel, I am quite confident that they would succeed. Should our feet get really hot and sweaty; fear not, they are breathable. (No-one likes a Blonde with cheesy feet!) They are the perfect boot for leaf scuffling as they are waterproof too, but Blonde Two and I will use them mostly for after swimming, as the pull-on design ensures that their will be no ‘faff’ in getting those toes warm again.

Lockdown is providing us with the perfect opportunity to give them a thorough testing around the country lanes and footpaths close to home.

What I like best about these boots though is the fact that they are made of recycled PET plastic. Brilliant!
