I very much enjoyed my visit to the Glen Nevis Ski resort. I loved seeing families getting outdoors together and doing things that they clearly all loved. I enjoyed seeing the variety of activities on offer: skiing, snowboarding, downhill mountain biking, high rope activities, tobogganing. The apres ski also looked tempting! The centre was very well organised and it seemed easy to get up to the top of the slopes via gondola, chairlift and ski-pull with a nice variety of routes back down.
I didn’t so much enjoy the queuing. Although it is possibly a British pastime, I didn’t want to join in the queues for: tickets, the gondola, coffee at the café or apres ski drinks.
It seems that some of the Scottish population have taken to heart the OS mantra to #GetOutside and it was good to see.

But no Glen Nevis resort…
It doesn’t look like outdoor queuing weather! But I’d love to see the mountains in snow – such light and shade – the chairlift piccie looks as if it might equally have been taken in black and white.
