Anything goes on a Monday so, as you all head back to work, here’s something a little bit Blonde and a little bit outdoors to get you thinking.
Our usual habit whilst out walking is to find something on the map that looks interesting and then try to find it. This time it was the other way around; we saw something that looked interesting on the ground just beside the path and upon discovering that it was indeed something interesting we tried to find it on the map. It was not easy to see on the map but is definitely there, marked with a star just on the line of the Two Moors Way path. It’s not the best example of a burial kist but nonetheless it was worth looking at. We wondered how many times we, and others, have walked right past this feature without noticing it.

I must have walked right past that feature on 5th September 2014; my journal records mist and poor visibility so the chances of seeing it must have been reduced anyway. It seems I sent my blog post from the previous day from the summit of Hameldown Hill because I had no signal previously. Very happy memories of the TMW.
