Love the ones in the Lake District that seem to go vertically up some quite impossible mountain scree! Amazing skill, both the men who built them and the men who repair them year in, year out when they are vandalised – sadly, mostly by humans not the sheep.
We have one on Dartmoor called Irishman’s Wall, which was built by Irish men and saw several precipitous ones on the slopes of Cadair Idris!
