If you ever have a bit of spare time and you are in the vicinity of the fabulous Postbridge on Dartmoor, do pop into the Visitor Centre to see what they have to offer. They have a well stocked shop with all sorts of interesting things for sale. They cater for the old, young and those in between. Items sold are purely for fun, to replace an item left at home by accident, or to provide brilliant information about the area.
The extra exciting bit for us Two Blondes recently was the exhibition upstairs. We think it was mainly aimed at younger people than us but we had a lovely time playing with the exhibits. We only just managed to find clothes big enough in the dressing up box though!
The highlight of the visit for me (as you can see from the photo) was the hut circle recreation. It was like a giant 3D jigsaw puzzle and the finished article gave an excellent insight into what the real thing would have looked like.
There were many more hands-on displays so why not go and have a look for yourself.
