Ordnance Survey have very kindly sponsored a new trophy for Trinity School to represent and encourage continued participation in the world of Outdoor Education. Every year on Speech Day we give numerous awards for all sorts of amazing achievements and I thought that it was about time that we had an award for those fantastic teenagers that show resilience and courage in one of the many ways to enjoy being outdoors: World Challenge, Duke of Edinburgh or Ten Tors.
Ordnance Survey took no persuading and jumped at the chance to sponsor this trophy.
There is just one problem – and it is quite a bit problem – how on earth will I choose which deserving student will win it! Thank goodness I have over 6 months to decide.
