That is the question asked recently by a very lovely friend of ours: Captain Claire.
The conversation can often be heard, stood by the boot of my car, deciding with Blonde Two whether to wear gaiters or not. It’s a difficult decision sometimes! Lately though, during this very rainy weather we’ve been having the decision has been much easier. The mud that is filling our gateways and our flooded footpaths makes the decision for us … definitely gaiters. Trousers stay cleaner, legs stay a bit warmer and boots stay a bit drier.
