A Wellies Walk
There’s something really lovely about going out for a ‘wellies’ walk. A wellies walk is usually done in the afternoon and more often than not involves a woodland and family. Wellington boots aren’t the most comfortable footwear but they are perfect for sploshing about in muddy puddles and scuffling in leaves, and perhaps not for doing any distance. My spotty wellies have been well used since Little Miss Blonde acquired a puppy and they have come in very useful since being rehomed in the boot of the car.
A welly walk will often be partaken by other people having a family walk and the variety of wellies that can be seen is fabulous. Children’s ones are especially colourful and bright (even when covered in mud).
If you haven’t done it recently, I recommend a wellies walk to make you feel good!
