If you read yesterday’s blog post, you will understand why I am feeling a tad disappointed at the moment.

I looked up a definition for the word, ‘disappointed’ and was given, ‘sad or displeased because someone or something has failed to fulfil one’s hopes or expectations‘. Which is all very well, except when the thing that has failed to fulfil your expectations is yourself.

I have decided that there are two ways to respond to this ‘self-disappointment’ situation (any resemblance to methods of natural contraception is purely coincidental):

1. The ‘LMF’ Method
‘LMF’ of course stands for ‘Lack of Moral Fibre’. If you choose (after said self-disappointment) to give yourself feeble excuses. Then (even if they are true) you are demonstrating, to some extent a Moral Fibre Leakage (not a pretty sight even on a Blonde).

2. The ‘IDMB’ Method
‘IDMB’ on the other hand, stands for ‘I Did My Best’. You can, of course, only use this one if you actually did your best; and you are the only one able to judge that.

Whether you choose ‘LMF‘ or ‘IDMB‘ is entirely up to you. If you are a girl, you have my permission to swap between the two in quick succession. The more you confuse the blokes around you, the better!

Bear in mind though, that these methods have different outcomes. ‘LMF‘ will leave you feeling ‘Little, Mopey and Flat’ whereas ‘IDMB‘ will result in you feeling ‘Important, Decisive, Mature and Blonde’.

Of course, if you are a girl, and you do keep swapping methods; you will feel Maturely Mopey, Decisively Unimportant and only a Little bit Blonde.

The choice, as they say, is yours (or in this case mine!)
