It’s amazing what will keep a bunch of teenagers occupied isn’t it? Recently I purchased the DofE bear: unsure whether our expeditioners would accept him into their fold or reject him because they considered themselves too mature for cuddly toys. I should have known better!
The bear’s arrival caused much excitement and before long the very mature Young Leaders were planning waterproof trousers, sleeping bags and all sorts of other walking equipment that might go into his rucksack. They decided that 3 Jelly Babies would just about fit.
Here he is complete with compass and map (folded the … (insert surname of Blonde One) way of course. I’ll tell you more about that another time). A name has yet to be chosen. Feel free to offer suggestions!
Please, please, please can we call him Shed Bear? Although hopefully Blonde One is the only person reading this who will understand that suggestion!
